Nc wildlife - August 2023 Update. Recently representatives from NC Wildlife met at Rhodes Pond and officially closed the gates of the new dam at Rhodes Pond. With the gates closed the impoundment will gradually refill with water, once water reaches a suitable depth, NC Wildlife staff will reinstall floating docks at the boat ramp and fishing pier.
